Could be from a dream or a shamanic experience accessing another time or dimension.  My feeling is that this scene took place in the far Northwest in a distant past.  The subject of igloos is one I worked with for a while and even built an igloo and did a ceremony in it at Lake Tahoe in the 80’s.
