Shamanic practitioners often identify with power animals and have the ability to change form into that animal and travel to different worlds and dimensions of existence.  They bring higher information and healing to their “tribe” upon returning.   I recognized the Jaguar as my power animal decades ago. In the course of a human lifetime, one’s power animal may change.
