Ms. Mudfish (the West African lungfish) can live on land and in the waters - She digs her burrow using her mouth, chewing through the moist earth, excreting the mud through her gills. West African lungfish have a very slow metabolism and are much less active than other fish and often rest at the bottom of a lakebed or river Ms. Mudfish can also live out of water in a self made cocoon for up to a year, breathing through its lungs until rains refill the waterway.
